Werner Franzmann follows Paul’s thinking in 1 Corinthians 9:19-22 for his eagerness in mission work. He then applies the concept to today’s outreach work making a special case that this passage “become weak to win the weak” cannot be used in watering down fellowship principles (e.g. LCMS issues).
