    Abstract
Professor Gurgel, on behalf of the faculty of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, presents an answer to two questions: How does the current synodical crisis highlight for us the spiritual issues we must address if we are faithfully to carry out our task of preparing qualified pastors for gospel ministry here and around the world? And, trusting in Jesus’ boundless grace to us, what specific steps can we take to answer those challenges during our students’ four years enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary? Part one answers the first question, part two the second.
