Abstract

In this research paper, Lois Peters (who appears to be training to become a deaconess herself) gives useful information on how the Deaconess Organization organized and grew both in Germany and in the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, discusses what training is necessary for somebody to become a deaconess, and relates how several deaconesses have helped other people overcome their troubles.
