Walther and the Other Lutherans
Abstract
Suelflow gives an excellent lecture on Walther as he considers his relationship to other Lutherans. To accomplish this task, Sueflow gives a brief biography of Walther during his earlier years, discussing the especially pivotal moments such as his growth in the gospel and his move to America. The lecture then goes on to detail the instrumental role Walther played in establishing the Missouri Synod, how he interacted with the Lutherans of his day, and his continual struggle to be truly confessional in a time of theological uncertainty and doubt.
