Report of the Synodical Conference Interim Committee (1948)

Abstract

At the Evangelical Lutheran Synodical Conference convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 6-9, 1946, an Interim Committee considered an overture regarding Army and Navy Chaplaincies. In 1948, the Interim Committee, pursuant to its resolution, offered its response. One member of this committee was unable to share his convictions with the others. His minority report, a report from the floor committee, and the Thiensville Theses are also included in this document.
