dc.description.abstractThe Christian church has always wrestled with the idea of how best to convey the gospel through media. At this time, virtual reality (VR) is a new frontier of digital communication. Can the church benefit from adopting this technology into its teaching and preaching practices? In this paper, I will evaluate a couple of principles behind educational technology, consider direct applications for VR in the Lutheran church, as well as consider what our Lord has to say about the use of social media and technology as the church seeks to adapt to the world.en_US
