dc.description.abstract | Something that often is left out of the discussion among pastors is exercise. God creates us body and soul, and the best way to teach is by example. Several benefits stem from exercise as it applies to the ministry. This thesis will demonstrate that as a pastor exercises, there will be benefits to his mental and physical health in the ministry. The connection between the brain and the body is more significant than most imagine. Exercise increases the size of the brain, shoots chemicals around to improve mood, and makes a person more resilient to stress. Exercise also has a profound effect on physical health. Exercise strengthens a person’s heart, bones, and muscles, increase endurance, and boosts the immune system. | en_US |
