Recruitment into the public ministry is unlike recruitment done in the secular world to enhance an institution’s program, enrollment, participation, or statistical position. Instead, we recruit individuals into the Gospel ministry to proclaim the saving message of the Gospel to the world. This same message has transformed the lives of the recruits, those who are also believers. God has recruited his children exclusives to carry out the Gospel, being well trained in Scripture. He does so by using believers as agents to encourage other believers as they explain and model the high standards that come with the sanctity of the office. The public ministry will also have its significant challenges. Nevertheless, God has promised to be with us. Even more, God recruits his believers for service in this life and ultimately for eternity with him.en_US
