A THESIS SUBMITTED TO THE FACULTY IN PARTIAL FULFILLMENT OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEGREE OF MASTER OF DIVINITYen_US
Due to the increase in cost of education as well as economy troubles, there seems to be a growing issue for funding Lutheran Elementary Schools. Finances are not a new problem with the church, but it is still a major point of discussion. The goal of this study is to compare different ways in which a school can be funded to figure out how the schools should be funded. Based on the reading of numerous essays and presentations that there have been on the topic with in our circles, it is clear that there are many opinions for which template should be followed when deciding on funding. Models for funding have changed from what the Wisconsin Synod has done in the past. Looking at what is being done, what has been done, and what some say should be done, there should be a good foundation to figure out how we should fund our Lutheran Elementary Schools.en_US
